Who Am I?

I began my journey with astrology nearly 30 years ago when a relative I’d never met sent me a book on astrology for my birthday. I became completely enthralled and I’ve been an avid student of the stars ever since. Throughout my life, it's proven an effective and grounding tool that brought me a sense of objectivity and being divinely guided, especially during stressful times. With the help of my astrology practice, each time I emerged from a dark night of the soul, it was with a deeper faith in The Universe and a general feeling of being more connected to the Divine good in everything (aka God). Regardless of how much shit has hit the proverbial fan, astrology has been a source of stability and wisdom in my life. But astrology is just one lens of many varieties that exist which can help point you upwards, even when what’s going on below the sky here on Earth seems like a chaotic mess. The stars act as proctors, lending their light to illuminate the dark spaces and allowing us to feel empowered by being conscious observers of our own lives. Over time, it seemed imperative that I do my part to bring this sense of peace and clarity to as many others as possible.
Tarot reader
In college, an acquaintance gifted me my first deck of tarot cards and once again, I was compelled to dive deeply into another divination practice. I have spent the last 18 years learning more about what tarot represents and how it coordinates beautifully with the principles of Jungian analysis and archetypal psychology. In my practice, I am continually uncovering its secrets and finding ways of applying its wisdom in my daily life. As with astrology, it has been a powerful and consistent source of guidance that has strengthened my connection with my own intuition, enough so that I am able to be a facilitator for others to benefit from its wisdom, as I have.

It is my deep honor and privilege to offer others my knowledge of these tools and how they can help support them fulfill whatever their highest path may be, or even just reveal what that path is! It can be challenging just to exist sometimes, and the stars and the cards are just two of a million ways in which The Universe/God/Divine Consciousness is trying to communicate with you all its love, guidance, and support.
My Approach
Do you believe in magic?
There is nothing more magical about tarot cards or the planets than your shoes. I do not believe any of these objects possess supernatural properties, inherently. Magic is a word we attach to the sense that everything around us exists as a result of our conscious awareness of it. To me, magic is simply the natural state of our world—just to be here at all is pretty magical!
What about astrology?
The planets are like a moving clock or compass that tell the time and show you the direction you’re looking for. If you want to know when lunchtime is, you look at a clock. If you want to know when to change careers (and to what), look at your astrology chart. My goal as a reader of energies, whether through the symbols and movements of the planets via astrology, or the imagery conveyed through the tarot cards, is to show you your own magic. We are all born with special gifts and innate abilities, which our natal chart can very plainly show us. As we continue on our journeys, it’s easy to become distracted by negative thoughts, relationships, or self-doubt that lead us down paths that are difficult and challenging. But ultimately, these trials are there to help redirect us toward what does feel right, and good, and best for us as individuals. In these moments, astrology is a helpful reminder of what that path is, and how we can get back on track to the route that makes the most sense for us at any given moment in time, throughout our lives.
What about tarot?
The tarot is a series of symbolic images meant to capture the basic elements, trials, and triumphs that can and often do exist in every human life at various stages. When the cards come together to provide you with a message, uniquely conjured for you, it’s a reminder that you are cherished by a universe that loves you and is actively working to help you achieve your life’s purpose and complete joy, no matter where you are on your journey right now. These messages come as much from inside you, from your true self, your intuition, as they do from some “magical” or even divine source. They are one in the same!
It's not magic, it’s intuition
When you learn to trust your own intuition, you become limitless. I truly believe that anyone can learn how to use astrology and tarot as helpful tools in their daily life, because the source of their power and intelligence comes directly from your own intuition. I have spent many years cultivating and trusting my own intuition so that I can help others do the same for themselves. My hope, my mission, is for anyone who entrusts me with a reading will feel empowered enough at some point to reach for these tools directly and on their own, or even find some other tool that speaks to them.
